Newmarket Stables has been a significant landmark in Randwick racing history since it was first established in the early 1860s as a 12-room home with adjoining stables. Additional construction was carried out over the decades, and in 1887 the Big Stable, as we know it today, was built and has housed thousands of racehorses over the last 130 years. Cbus Property commissioned Belmadar to restore this landmark before handing it over to Randwick Council for community use.
