Belmadar was engaged to complete the refurbishment of two levels of the University's Astronomy Building on the Camperdown campus. The project comprised of two stages: 1) demolition of existing rooms and lecture theatres; 2) followed by construction and refurbishment of new offices and amenities upgrade. All works were completed in a live environment requiring out-of-hours work to reduce stakeholder impact. The works were staged according to the Sydney University's requirements, with work schedules regularly communicated to staff. A strong relationship developed with the Physics Department, resulting in Belmadar being contracted for further refurbishment and upgrade projects with Sydney University. Belmadar also managed a mechanical upgrade to the building's lecture theatre in 2019.
