Belmadar was the builder of choice to construct the new Library located in D Block of Paddington's Art & Design precinct.

The Library is an innovative workspace designed by MCA Architects, introducing collaborative and engaging workstations, offices and meeting spaces for all students. In addition to 155 quiet individual and group student study spaces, a collaboration zone, help zone, waiting area, consultation pods, meeting rooms with AV technology, staff room, lunch room and kitchen.

Launching the new space in Block D marked a significant milestone and transformation in the Paddington campus student experience. Although there were upgrades to the aesthetics and functionality of the area, there were also upgrades to the services (air-conditioning, electrical services and AV services). Such service upgrades included new audio-visual connectivity as the design implemented surface hubs, desktops, electrical connectivity through table boxes and lighting control.

In addition to the refurbishments and upgrades made internally, Belmadar constructed a new external space that included new precast concrete seating and landscaping features. This was all situated under a new exterior awning structure cladded with aluminium battens.
